This edition of the Security Summit will feature a diverse lineup of thought leaders, all eager to share their insights on the security challenges faced by mobile network operators and discuss potential solutions that will enhance the industry’s overall security.
Session 1: Secure the workforce, fortify the future (12:45-13:30)
Only 53% of companies have some form of security awareness campaigns and training in place. Insider attacks are regarded as the most dangerous and they often originate from non-malicious and uninformed employees. This session will explore the value and components of security awareness campaigns, and the security and fraud threats mitigated by implementing them.
Session 2: Global Telecommunication Security Landscape (13:30-14:15)
This session provides a critical global overview of telecommunications' significant role in the security ecosystem today. Consideration of innovation and best practices in solutions to mitigate or repel threats to mobile networks will evaluate the interdependence of network security and fraud prevention for consumers and operators.

Session 3: The Fraud Threat Landscape (14:45-16:00)
Fraudsters are now increasingly focused on deploying social engineering scams as an attack vector with the FTC, reporting consumer losses to scams at nearly $8.8 billion in 2022, a 30% increase. Identity authentication solutions continue to scale across the fintech UX, including KYC at onboarding, leveraging AI to counter fake IDs. There is huge focus on building trust in voice calls. GSMA Open gateway project is unlocking access to network insights on a global scale to fight fraud.
This session will explore the key identity fraud threats and how new solutions and increased collaboration across the mobile fintech eco-system is fighting back.
