Speaker Bio
Daisy Ogola is an accomplished legal and regulatory professional with extensive experience shaping policy regulatory frameworks across the telecommunications, financial services, and technology sectors. She currently serves as the Regulatory & Public Policy Manager at Safaricom PLC, where she provides strategic legal and regulatory counsel on policy development on key issues within the telco ecosystem.
Prior to her current role, Daisy was the Legal & Compliance Officer for East Africa at Java House Africa, where she led legal advisory efforts, contract negotiations, compliance functions, and intellectual property strategy across the region. She has also served as Legal & Regulatory Counsel at the Insurance Regulatory Authority of Kenya, where she contributed to legislative drafting, stakeholder engagement, and policy implementation within the insurance industry.
Daisy is currently pursuing her master’s degree in public policy and management form the Strathmore University, holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from The Catholic University of Eastern Africa and is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. Her credentials also include certifications in leadership from Strathmore Business School and is a member of the Law Society of Kenya.
