Roli began his career as a Chartered Accountant through MTN’s training programme before moving into management consulting, where he led strategy and digital transformation projects across financial services and technology. His work included designing mobile payment solutions to advance financial inclusion and developing growth strategies for large enterprises.
He rejoined MTN in 2020 as part of the Group Strategy & Transformation unit, driving initiatives such as the Digital Services strategy refresh, fibre-to-the-home connectivity, and data monetisation programmes.
In his current role as General Manager: Marketing & Strategy for MTN Digital Services, Roli leads efforts to scale digital platforms and content across Africa and the Middle East. His mandate spans defining the portfolio of digital services, accelerating adoption of entertainment and lifestyle products, and harnessing data and analytics to deliver personalised, accessible experiences for millions of customers.
