Session Description
From low-band spectrum for extending rural coverage to mid-band spectrum to boost 5G capacity, decisions on spectrum availability, pricing and licensing play a decisive role in influencing investment, network quality and the pace of digital inclusion. As mobile data demand continues to accelerate and preparations for WRC-27 gather pace, the need for forward-looking, predictable spectrum frameworks is becoming increasingly urgent. This session explores how governments can design spectrum policies that deliver long-term value – encouraging investment, enabling innovation and expanding access – while ensuring the efficient and sustainable use of this critical resource.
