Connected Healthcare Roundtable

GSMA Foundry will host an invite-only roundtable focused on advancing the connected healthcare ecosystem, with a particular emphasis on emerging markets and Africa.

Healthcare systems across these regions are entering a defining decade. Demand is rising rapidly, workforce capacity remains constrained, and funding pressures continue to intensify. At the same time, access to care remains uneven, particularly in remote and underserved communities. These challenges require new, scalable models of delivery.

At the same time, advances in coverage and connectivity, AI, sensing, and digital health technologies are creating a real opportunity to leapfrog traditional infrastructure limitations. When applied effectively, these capabilities can expand access, improve patient outcomes, and drive more efficient, resilient healthcare systems.

This roundtable will bring together a select group of leaders from across healthcare, technology, and the wider ecosystem to co-create and validate practical solutions. The focus is on real-world deployment, operational scale, and impact in markets where the need is greatest.

The session will feature targeted case studies and a clear call to action. Participants will be invited to align on a small number of high-impact initiatives, using connectivity to address critical healthcare challenges in emerging markets. The goal is simple: move from discussion to execution, and deliver measurable improvements for the communities that need it most.
