Gamze Aydin is the Senior Vice President of Sales for Carriers in the Middle East and Africa at Avanti Communications (“Avanti”). Gamze joined Avanti in 2017 as Regional Director of Turkey, heading up the Turkey office in Istanbul. Gamze is a highly accomplished Business Executive with significant experience opening new markets and & delivering high value revenue streams. In her current role, Gamze leads the Sales departments and oversees the growth customers based in Africa. She is also currently the Country Director for South Africa, based in Avanti’s office in Johannesburg.
Before Avanti, she worked at cloud & AI analytics and data platform Teradata as the Turkish Managing Director. During this period, Gamze delivered multi-million projects, won several major accounts for the business, and was responsible for successfully growing revenue by 400%. Prior to this, Gamze was a Country Consulting Director at Oracle. For her work at Oracle and Teradata, Gamze was recognised on multiple occasions by both business media and business unions as the top performing businesswoman in the Turkish Industry.
