Yevai advises clients across sectors and geographies on a broad range of business-critical situations. Her experience spans corporate actions, crisis management and corporate communications.
She has advised leading corporates - including JSE Top 40 companies and global conglomerates, particularly within the Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) and Financial Services sectors. Notably, she has supported MTN Group, Africa’s largest mobile network operator, across a range of mandates including investor engagement (Capital Markets Days and Financial Results), media relations, and crisis management.
Her pan-African experience includes advising Access Bank, Airtel, Diageo, Nokia, MultiChoice and Naspers, helping them develop and implement communications strategies to ensure the financial community, media, employees and other stakeholders understand and value their investment case.
Her experience on financial situations includes the listing of Airtel Malawi on the mainboard of the Malawi Stock Exchange, AB-InBev’s acquisition of SABMiller; the combination of Honeywell Flour Mills and Flour Mills of Nigeria; the acquisition of Pioneer Foods by PepsiCo, the acquisition of Global Credit Ratings by Moody’s Corporation and the acquisition of Royal Bafokeng Platinum by Impala Platinum.
In South Africa, she has worked with a diverse range of clients including Woolworths, The Banking Association South Africa, Exxaro Resources, Discovery Holdings, Omnia Holdings, Tharisa Minerals, Imperial Logistics, and Liberty Holdings, delivering strategic counsel that enhances stakeholder understanding and supports long-term value creation.
