Anita Erskine, MCM is a globally recognized Media and Strategic Communications leader, celebrated for amplifying Africa’s voice at the highest levels of global discourse. With over two decades of experience, she is a trusted host and advisor to institutions such as the United Nations, African Union, World Bank Group, AfCFTA, ECOWAS, and numerous governments—often working in the presence of Presidents, Ministers, Ambassadors, and senior policymakers.
Her work sits at the intersection of digital innovation, artificial intelligence, gender equity, entrepreneurship, and climate resilience. Through powerful storytelling, policy-shaping dialogue, and systems-level communications strategy, she advances the Sustainable Development Goals and the African Union’s Agenda 2063. As Executive Director of Erskine Global Communications, she leads a multidisciplinary firm that delivers high-level moderation and stakeholder engagement, strategic advisory and brand communications, and leadership training and media production.
Anita is the official host of Africa’s Business Heroes by the Jack Ma Foundation, where she also provides communications training to over 100 entrepreneurs annually—helping shape a new generation of African business leaders. She is the founder of The Leadership Voice, a Masterclass and Fellowship transforming how African leaders communicate with presence, purpose, and strategic influence.
With over 700 high-level events moderated across Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and North America, Anita is widely respected for her unmatched ability to fuse diplomacy with storytelling—making her one of the most sought-after voices shaping Africa’s future on the global stage.
She holds a Master’s degree in Communications Management from McMaster University in Canada and a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Studies from Trent University.
