Speaker Bio
Marie-Paule Gakuba is a Tech Policy Advisor at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, where she has contributed to advancing national connectivity and enhancing the quality of digital services. In her current role, she has been instrumental in driving the expansion of connectivity through mobile wireless, fixed network, and satellite solutions.
Before joining the Institute, Marie-Paule managed Rwanda’s largest 4G access network, overseeing operations that strengthened national broadband coverage. Earlier in her career, she led broadband transmission and network integration projects, ensuring seamless communication and optimal network performance.
She holds an MSc in Electronics Engineering from F’SATI and an MTech in Telecommunications from the Tshwane University of Technology.
