Xiaoyou (Shawn) Liu serves as Commercial Solution Lead for Huawei's East Africa region, driving digital transformation across education, enterprise, manufacturing, and healthcare sectors.

A graduate of Shandong University in Electrical Engineering, Shawn began his career developing network management platforms at Huawei before transitioning to commercial market expansion. Over the past five years, he has pioneered digital infrastructure initiatives across Africa and China, creating over 20 industry benchmark cases and delivering 40+ transformative commercial projects.

Currently leading commercial sales, partner ecosystem development, and strategic marketing for Huawei's Eastern Africa operations, Shawn specializes in aligning advanced technology solutions with Africa's unique market dynamics, where connectivity serves as the foundation for opportunity and innovation across the continent.
