Richard Duodu

Richard is the CEO of Metaschool AI, an edtech firm providing high-quality learning resources to K-12 students through mobile-first infrastructure. His work specifically addresses the academic gaps created by the double-track school system, which leaves thousands of Ghanaian students without formal instruction for up to three months in a year.

 

Metaschool AI utilises generative AI delivered through USSD and Voice-AI protocols to ensure these learners maintain academic momentum and prevent significant learning loss during mandatory school breaks.

 

Prior to founding Metaschool AI, Richard led the technical development of digital financial systems, including the Ecobank Invest Mobile application and the Billprompt POS platform. He is an alumnus of the Stanford Institute for Innovation in Developing Economies. His work in the EdTech sector has been recognized through the GSMA Innovation Fund and the Mastercard Foundation EdTech Fellowship.
