Session Description

Digital inclusion in Africa is entering a new phase. While connectivity has expanded significantly, the real challenge—and opportunity—now lies in translating access into meaningful usage, socio-economic participation, and measurable business growth

This strategic open roundtable brings together senior leaders from across the mobile ecosystem, development organisations, and technology partners to explore how digital inclusion can be operationalised as a core business strategy and societal impact driver

The session will examine:

  • How inclusion initiatives are delivering tangible socio-economic outcomes
  • Where operators are unlocking new revenue streams and customer growth
  • The role of AI, fintech, and digital ecosystems in accelerating meaningful use
  • What it takes to measure and scale impact beyond connectivity

Grounded in real-world experience and practical insights, the discussion will also spotlight the GSMA Business Imperative for Digital Inclusion Guide as a tool to help organisations embed inclusion into strategy, operations, and value creation.
