Lande Abudu is the Senior Energy Specialist, GSMA Africa, leading energy initiatives aimed at accelerating the mobile sector’s shift to clean, reliable, and renewable power.
Lande was most recently the Component Lead for Standalone Solar Home Systems on the Nigeria Electrification Project funded by the World Bank and African Development Bank, overseeing the deployment of over one million SHS, giving energy access to more than 5 million Nigerians. She previously served as CEO of the Renewable Energy Association of Nigeria (REAN).
Lande has been extensively involved across the entire renewable energy value chain - advocacy, capacity building, legislation, regulation, donor funds management and public-private sector liaison including being a Global Taskforce Member for the World Economic Forum’s Mobilising Investment for Clean Energy in Emerging Economies (MICEE) initiative. Additionally, she is a Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) Industry Advisory Committee member for Professional Certification in Clean Energy.
A mentor with the Global Women’s Network for the Energy Transition (GWNET), Lande is an accredited Renewable Energy Expert.
