Shroug is the Senior Analyst leading GSMAi’s research across Africa. She has over a decade of experience in telecoms and digital transformation, having worked on strategic initiatives across the continent. Prior to joining the GSMA, she held various roles in the telecoms industry, supporting operators and governments on technology adoption and policy development. Shroug holds a BSc in Telecommunications Engineering and has a strong interest in the intersection of connectivity, innovation, and inclusive growth in Africa.
