Session Description
Interoperability is increasingly recognised as a critical enabler of digital financial inclusion. However, the empirical links between different interoperability models, regulatory frameworks, and inclusive outcomes remain insufficiently explored. To help fill this gap, the GSMA has conducted a study across multiple countries to assess the real-world impact of mobile money interoperability on financial inclusion.
This session will mark the official launch of the study, followed by a panel discussion to unpack the findings and explore pathways for designing inclusive and effective interoperability frameworks. It will bring together diverse perspectives from the private sector, government, and key stakeholders across the financial ecosystem.
